I have the same problems where I ride plus there are some gravel roads I wanted to ride and went with a Bianchi Axis. Great bike - very durable. Works great as road bike; a friend recently lent me a set of true road wheels with 23s on it so now I can switch back and forth. With the road wheels on it's just like a true roadie!
