I know for a fact that thing is Positron. That model used a one piece crank with a freewheel. Shifting duties were handled by a stem mounted friction shift looking POSITRON shifter.

Positrons DID NOT always come with the FFS (Front Freewheel System) So DUH yourself.

OneTinSloth hehehehe.....yeah. positron all the way! it's actually not all that bad. it was a B**** to get into the stand though. thing weighs a ton, and i thought the rear wheel was going to break the truing stand when i put it in.
