I draft busses here in Taipei all the time. one of the best ways to get around the city at about 40-50 kmh, as these guys DO NOT stop (unless hailed down) and the other traffic clears away really fast. and on the coast roads, i draft trucks at above 60 whenever i can. after doing it for 20 years or so, you get to know when they'll brake or shift lanes. helps out on those long 200km days when you're bored of the flat parts. not much use in hills though.
i used to draft trucks on the motorbike in Australia too, on long highways. easiest way to avoid speed radar traps, as the trucks knew exactly where they were, and i did not waste effort always concentrating on the speedo. also saved a whole chunk of gas too, and I could sit up a bit and not get blown off. of course, on the twisty stuff I'd overtake and disappear....
I lived in Taipei back in the 80's and I can't imagine riding at all there....let alone drafting the insane traffic. You...are a stud.
