I have mountain biked in the snow around -10°C(14°F) and it is awesome. Road riding around that temperature is just as good, except for ice on the road. I would definitely consider riding in -40°C(40°F) or below one day.


Unrelated topic, why can't you Americans adopt the metric system? Fahrenheit makes no bloody sense.
Water freezes at 0°C and boils at 100°C not 32°F, 212°F.
