I have had two drivers make right turns in front of me in the past 24 hours! I've had a fantastic couple of months of riding with a minimal amount of *****holes. This morning I was on a residential street and I hear engine roaring and look in my rear view mirror and see a car about 50 yards behind me. I am just about to the next cross street where I need to make a right, so I take the entire right hand side. This b!tch gets all the way over in the left lane when I'm turning right, makes a wide swing around me and begins to make her right!!!!!!!!!! I get so irritated that I go ahead and start making my right which stops her from making hers. I get in the right lane and take the entire lane with her gunning her engine behind me, so that she can get to the red light ahead of us quicker than me. What the ***** is wrong with people?!!!!! I wanted to take out my heavy NYC Kryptonite lock and throw it at the back window, I wanted to give her double birds, but then I realized that "car is king" and nobody cares about cyclists.

While sitting at work trying to stave off a nervous breakdown trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with drivers, I remember a piece of advice a long time cyclist gave to me a few months ago, "When you commute by bicycle, you have to have a short memory."
