What're ILTB's qulaifications for being a "real" commuter? I'm 42 years old and I've been commuting by bike since I was in my 20's. My current commute is 13 each way (26 miles round trip). My round trip has hovered around ~20 miles for years.
BFD, my young friend. My commuting "qualifications" are bigger than yours and just as
real, if not more so. But my qualification size really doesn't matter. You can keep dreaming that the relative handful of commuters who consider an $1,800 bike the right tool for cyclists with the
proper qualifications. Maybe you can even
qualify for an Ant or Vanilla bike if you count your pennies long enough.
