Didn't ride in today, but rode home last night....and it was fast for me.....averaged 16.1 for 27.1 miles....I'm usually around 14.9 - 15.1
The key was using my glutes
I read an article in one of the bike magazines....somewhere I read about most cyclists don't use their best, biggest muscles when riding.....so I tried it and ..... it was amazing how much more power I generated on the flats and on the hills(I hardly ever stand when climbing)...my heart rate was up just a tad, but overall .... this was my fastest commute , by far, and I felt soooo much better afterwards and this morning!!........and there were no bunnies harmed on my commute home last night
