Well I was able to test my bicycle helmet's nonSnell rating today, not that I wanted to, but due the fact that I experienced my first crash in 15 years, and I have to go back just about as many years to equal the severity of that crash. I will be replacing the helmet, if not only for safety issues, but for upgrading and cosmetic reasons. My current helmet is sorely lacking in protection when compared to any of my motorcycle helmets, but far better than what I was wearing for head protection 15 years ago and prior.
