So I recently aquired a track frame - 1" threadless, that I'm building up. I was going to ditch the fork for a nashbar carbon one anyhow, but was unsure whether to stick with threaded or not. In all honesty I love the simplicity of threadless, but think quill stems look pretty cool. So I was mad wavering.

But what it comes down to is that I just can't seem to find any decent stems in either configuration. For quill stems you either have to dig through ebay or go with a cheaper Nitto - like a Dynamic. And for threadless you pretty much have to shim a stem, which is kind of lame.

Any advice fellow forumers?
