Haven't had a chance to get my pictures up here yet, but a brief recap of the weekend from my point of view.

Overall...it was another great year in Lancaster. This year the social ride on Saturday saw good weather and a solid turnout. The Sunday ride was better for me this year despite the big crash (glad no one was seriously hurt) and the rain which for those of you riding with me hadn't figured out... ( I really don't like being out in the rain on my bicycle). So I just decided to drop the hammer and finish the darn ride as quickly as possible. So my post crash ride pace was in the low to mid twenties hammering along mostly by myself and I don''t ever remember being that wet on a bicycle ride! Mirona...love ya man...but you telling me you loved riding in the rain just made me ride harder and want to get done even faster!! LOL :-) Despite that... it was still the best ride of the three I've done there.

Without a doubt the best thing about the whole weekend though was seeing my old BF friends again. And.. meeting many new ones (even though I can remember all your names). This community is such a great place to be a part of and I would like to send a heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the trip to Lancaster this year. It was great to meet and ride with you all. Many of you are inspirational in your own ways and I'm fortunate to have been able to meet and ride with you over the past couple of years. There were many laughs shared again this year. Thanks! I'll get my pictures up in the next day or two and I hope to see you all back for next year's ride.
