mounting tires onto velocity aero rim
I just got a new back wheel after stripping out the fixed side of my hub on my '06 bowery. I've replaced it with a fixed/fixed 36h dimension hub laced to a velocity aerohead rim, basically a dimension pre-built through qbp. I could not mount my steel bead vittoria rubino on that thing, and I barely managed to get a michelin lithion on there. So, aside from my whole color scheme being off, I'm thinking I'll be royally ****ed when I flat that back wheel. Am I just an idiot and there's an easy way to put a tire on there?
