This has been bugging me for so long now. It's incredibly frustrating that the people actually making an effort to fix things are THE bad guys. But as long as we live in a society that teaches you that you can simply make a $99 purchase online to offset all the damage you've done to the environment for a year, we're fukked. Or as long as police fail to do their job when it comes to anything other than a motorized vehicle.

Hah! I was thinking the same thing when I came in. Amber and I talk all the time about how back in the "olden days" you used to know anyone with a ton of tattoos. But now that's so common that sense of the small community has drifted off and we were both saying how we miss it. Now when we're walking anywhere, we run into bike friends - even Amber who doesn't ride outside of commuting! Bike friends are the new tattoo friends!

That's amazing dude! I felt similar after getting hit a couple weeks back. I was really surprised and impressed with how many people jumped to my aid. I totally didn't expect that after all of the driver bullsh you deal with on the day to day. Makes you remember that there's people in those steel boxes. Sometimes they just feel like angry robots.
Alright.. back to powerpointing *cringe*
