The thing I like most about BD bikes, and no one seems to have mentioned it yet, is that their aluminum 7005 frames have a great geometry. Their frames have a TT and ST that are equal length. My friend's 56 cm Vent Noir has a 56 seat tube and 56 top tube. The serious racers in the park where we ride (and this includes Olympians and World Champions, you can guess the park) really like his BD bike-and the frame specifically. Obviously, it's not in the same league as the $10,000 Pinarellos and Cervelos they ride, but serious world-class racers have ridden his BD bike around the park, and they gave it their seal of approval, so as far I'm concerned it is a quality bike. The way these guys talk, they would never hesitate to say it is crap, if it is.

FWIW, they like my Scott Speedster as well, but I paid a lot more than my friend paid for his Vent Noir, which also seems to be a quality bike.
