i was thinking the same thing. after i uploaded the pic to my pc, i thought "holy crap!" i went straight upstairs to make sure the seatpost wasn't extended too far out of the seat tube. i think it has something to do with the picture. it doesn't look as awkward irl.

also, fwiw, i adjusted the seatpost up about 3/4" the other day. after my ride today, i've decided it's at least 1/4" - 1/2" too high.
