As you might guess, they're quite common here. I love the basket.
Pretty close......the chain guard was a full enclosed one.

Here the kids are going for BMX, Mountain bikes...and now cruisers. My son ( 9 3/4 years) has a BMX bike, but he commutes with it side by side with me (so as long as dad has baskets he's fine but I have a quick on/off rack that he will soon use )
