Yup, sounds about right. That is in line with when I started my conditioning this past spring. My son has been taking his MTB out for a short 3.6 mile ride nearly every evening for about the past three weeks. He is running around 12MPH most of the time. He runs his tires too soft though. That robs speed in a hurry. We have fun though. I give him a pretty good head start then I chase him on my 'bent. The tortoise and the hare as he calls it. The important thing is to start a consistent program of conditioning and then sticking to it. I will not take long and you will be rolling along wioth the best of them.
