When you buy the shoes, get the shop to include the inserts of your choice, otherwise you'll pay another $45 or so for a high-arch insert. Don't ask me how I came to realize this.
As to width, I find the Pro Carbons to have a nice roomy toe-box, but like someone else said, my foot != your foot, so go try some on.
