Not MUPs that go nowhere but real grade separate bicycle freeways with on/off ramps to secondary arterial cycle highways, that in turn link up with all those local MUPs. - A complete, usefull, cycling-specific transport infrastructure.
A great idea. And they tried to do it only 110 years ago.
