Not sure - I got mine in 2001. The fact that it was for track use, and built like a tank, is why the owner of my LBS in Haarlem recommended it. He never steered me wrong in the two years I went to him.

In fact, when I went to him initially looking for my first road bike (he handled Cannondale, Wilier, and several others), after an hour or more of discussion, he sent me to a builder in Alkmaar for a custom bike because he thought it would make for a better fit. Since there are many small builders over there, it ended up costing less than an OTS bike. That's the way to gain a loyal customer!
