So I was riding along back from the humble LBS when accelerating off a stop sign, my handlebar snapped in two (cue shock). Good thing there wasn't much traffic, it was a small street but i rolled a copule feet into the lane before stopping. The first thing I said to myself was aw *** I have to walk 4.8km back
Well long story short, handlebar didn't rip completely through so I could bike (relatively) unsafely home. New bike time!
