Why would you even bother stocking up on parts? Just wait till it breaks then buy it or if you find something on sale then buy it but to just stock up just in case something breaks is pretty dumb IMHO.
agreed. Also, if say something like your derailleur breaks in two years. The one you have now would be outdated and there will probably be better offerings.
