Has any one noticed the bad press coming out about the Oddessy World Bicycle Tour 2000. Apparently someone loss a leg due to an accident, costs have risen to over $50,000/per person and distances travelled per day can be as high as 130 miles in extreme heat.

I think alot of people entered this thinking it would be a cake walk. And I can see the cost of Airfares have risen due to fuel costs.
