I picked up a 10 speed Sram force chain today thinking that it will save me a few grams over the DA stock chain which had seen too many miles. Prior to the change, my drive train runs very efficiently, with perfect shifting and no noise.

The Sram chain on, shifting to the higher cog is very difficult and when I do 39 -25 and 39-23 (on a 12-25 shimano cassette), I get very loud noise. The same is true for 53-25 and 53-23(but I attribute that to cross chainring). I lube the chain and the problem is still there. Is it that the Sram chain just does not work with DA cassette and crankset? Or am I missing something? Any recommendation is appreciated.
