Wait a second here. I wasn't commenting on someone's choice of color for a toptube pad. I was pointing out an utterly ridiculous handlebar setup that no person in their right mind could actually ride. Somehow that makes me "stuck up"? Well then I guess I can go in walking around in public with my shoes on backwards or my underwear on top of my lycra shorts and not expect any funny looks or comments. I didn't realize people have gotten so touchy feely that raggin on someone for doing something incredibly stupid is deemed "stuck up"

As to your question "why does anyone care?"

I care because if people like this aren't called on it, I'm likely to be hit by some dorkwad who can't control his bike bombing down a hill with no breaks, platform pedals, and vertical mustache bars.

I really wouldn't care if the guy had them swept backwards or forwards; hell I can even justify running mustachio bars backwards--but there is no reason for this guy's setup other than utter stupidity and some misplaced desire to look like a "track racer"---not to mention that setup is HORRIBLY DANGEROUS!
