yes, it was tough.

It is difficult to relay how tough some of the climbs were and how fun some of the descending was. It was a rollercoaster of emotions all day long since there was pretty much just up and down and no in between. And it was well advertised that one of if not 'the' hardest climb came at mile 100, so you were just waiting, anticipating and dreading.

After the last checkpoint, I was talking with some riders who had done it the year before and after they completed the first ride, swore they would never ride it again. But they were back for a second dose.

I suspect I will be back too. I just dislike myself that much.
