A straight bar removes hand positions, and if the drop bar is the same height - well, I just can't figure it out. Also, I don't think lots of folks are switching to straight bars, but maybe we need a poll?
+1 on that comment. And my Sequoia even has those auxiliary brake levers near the stem so I have quick brake access when I'm riding on the tops. The only disadvantage is having to reach for the hoods in order to shift, but that's not such a big deal. And I
really like having all of the various hand-position options.
