For about a year I posted about 50/50 here and on 50+ (despite not quite being that age, but not far away), and in February or March, gave it up. The reason, the lack of respect for women. The expression, "Dirty old men," really did apply. East Hill tried to tolerate them in her kind and friendly way, but even those guys (who should know better) launced an attack on us when we gently pointed this out and suggested they didn't need to be so sexist.
In the end, I'm glad I'm not wasting time there any longer. They really didn't "get" vintage bikes. I'd suggest someone try riding a Collegiate--- and the thread would end.
