One thing that I find helps is to become accountable for what you eat. Check out

It's a way for you to track your daily eating and exercise and see if you are actually creating a calorie deficit. Plus, if you're like me, it makes you less likely to break down and drink that cherry coke or eat that twinkie when you know you'll have to enter it into your log.
