I think it was a road bike before being converted to fixed gear, but haven't been able to find anything about "SR" bikes on the net.
SR was Sakae Randner. I used to own one back in the mid to late 1970s. They were Japanese - also made components like bars, stems, cranks etc. They went away a long time ago, but I think someone may have revived the name since I have seen SR labeled components recently.
