Frame shows evidence of having had rear rack braze-ons at one time, which coincides with the rather long wheelbase/slack geometry setup as my modified image of the bike (as it once was) showed.

The forged Huret drops without a built-in derailer hanger is most certainly an interesting - and distinctive - feature. Not common to see a forged drop without a hanger built in.

What threading BB does this have? English, French or Italian? I'm willing to guess English or French. Let me know.

Somehow, the idea of a tourer with a non-built in derailer hanger and originally pained green gives me visions of a Dawes Galaxy, but I don't believe they ever used Prugnat lugs such as these - they also had nutted brakes, if I recall right.

Take care,

-Kurt
