YOUR ride???? You did the 300 miler to the catskills!
Slvoid did a solo up 9w and turned back on the last climb before Bear Mt. "It's too windy" (in my best whiny voice).
I went up the back way with Alex... beautiful ride, perfect weather, 135 miles. We were SUPPOSED to take a slow 70 mile ride up, cross the Bear Mountain bridge, and catch the triain back.... but I was bait and switched (again) and got suckered into riding back. 135 miles. But a great day and well worth it.
A nice 10mph tailwind made the ride back down 9w the best one of the year.
Alex got his
Bianchi Axis with stupid low climbing gears... delivered last week.
And I ordered my
Tricross with gearing almost as stupid... due in this week.
We're all set for
6 Gaps on Sunday, Sept 30th.
