I noticed that too, Kurt. I also studied the rest of this thread, and read about the sloping top tubes and noticed right away, that all the other Gunnars have the same thing, the modern geometry. After seeing all that, I just wish I could opt for a vintage Paramount, regardless of the condition. Send it back to the Schwinn's for refurbishing. Eureka! My new set of wheels...

The downside, of course, would be the cost. But that Campus Green, flamboyant red, radiant coppertone, kool orange, kool lemon, sky blue, violet (VIOLET!), silver mist, is just soooo irresitible with those chrome lugs and vintage Schwinn decales!
