I did not look at the differences in price but another of their models you may want to consider is the Uptown. It has an internally geared hub, really nice for commuting for a plethora of reasons, a dynamo hub to power lights, and a full chaincase to keep your chain and pants clean.
Thanks for the reply. I considered the Uptown, but I was concerned the internal gearing would not give me enough gearing options. The 10 mile commute will be mostly on country roads (2 miles) and a rail to trail path (8 miles). I will be moving to Indiana, not too hilly but it can get pretty windy and I thought the extra gearing would be helpful in maintaining speed in the wind.
