welcome to my world, at least when I was an undergrad. I had a single also I and I do 100% of the maintenance in my room. I have to loft my bed so I have more space and I sleep on the floor, where my bikes are parked in the daytime during classes. It sucks but you will learn to deal with it. At my school, we have communal co-eds and the girls in my dorm really don't like my habits of washing cassettes in the showers.

I should have joined a fraternity but living conditions there are not any better. Here are some pics of my girlfriends (3 bikes) and 6 wheelets. Collegiate racing is fun and you race depending on your schedule. Races are held on weekend and you can do as many or as few as you want.

Just curious to get responses from those of you with experience, how you maintained and cleaned your bike in the dorms. Did you do it in the room itself, just take it to a bike shop or did you just take it outside to do the dirty work? Oh, yeah what's collegiate racing like compared to USCF? Just want as many takes as possible. Already talked to a few people so I'll compare answers.
Thanks in advanced if I get any answers.
