yES INDEED I use them.

the reason I ordered them was Because I wear Large Lake sandals .

The sandals are very wide and I could not release from my pedals anytime I needed too, only in certain spots on the rotation where my Toe Box didnt hit the crank arm.

The knee savers solved the problem, also its a bit cooler riding with My legs a bit further apart.

As for pedaling out of the saddle, I do it plenty and I have yet to break anything. I had a nice chat with the gent at Knee saver and with all the pairs hes sold I believe he only had 2 come back.

They look a bit ODD and they get wierd looks(esp when Roadies looks at them) but they solved a problem for me so They stay on!
