And, for the record, I had my first "nailed by a car while on the job" today. genius wasn't looking, and switched into the right lane infront of a parked car, and me, while I was in a full out sprint. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought that it'd be.. there was something almost poetic about doing a half front flip over the bars. And then the ground showed up.
All in all, I'm no longer as worried about falling while wearing clips and straps as I once was...

Yeah dude, that was you! You were heading West so it was probably just after the MEC tracks. Those tracks are NOTORIOUS! I've been lucky thus far but have watched friends go down in them before.
The pull into the right lane right after a parks car is also a NOTORIOUS move. The one time I've been seriously hit in this city was as direct result of that move.
