I once had a job as a "bagboy" at a local Albertson's grocery store. I was allowed to do my duties on my
ROLLERSKATES!!
After years of being THROWN OUT of grocery stores for wearing skates, I was in heaven!
One lady summed it up one day with the following comment...
"Ya know, every elementary school kid's mother knows about YOU!"
I think that was what the boss had in mind.
You seen those shoes kids wear that have little wheels on the bottom and they can just roll everywhere instead of walking? GENIUS! Why hasn't this caught on for adults? I soooo want some. Very cool you were allowed to wear roller skates... sounds like you made a crappy job fun!
