My uncle just turned 50 and people mistake him for late 30's daily. He has been distance riding since he was a teenager and frequently does 200+ mile events.

I gained 10 lb the first month of my marriage (lots of good food on the honeymoon), and lost it all the next month by riding 3 times a week for at least 1 hour.

There may be truth to your posts, but there are PLENTY of exceptions.
