Ok, I am not roadie in the sense that I ride a road bike, but I do ride a comfort bike, but with the thin tires and a much much better seat than the crap they put on them. Oh, and I do ride on the road, not on trails. That being said I find that if I ride sitting mostly upright, I get tired quick (and sore), but it I stretch and use the handlebar etensions (mounted straight out), and flatten my back, I tend to pedal more efficiently and have a much nicer ride.
