I just bought a GPS unit for my car, Mio c220, it has a bicycle setting on it. anyone using it as a navigational unit on the bike? My idea was to just ride places I have never been and then hit the home button(takes you home) to get directions back. I assume the bicycle function takes you on better quality of road. The pedestrian mode takes you on sidewalks and lets you go the wrong way on one way streets.
anyway I have a bento box on my top tube so I could put it in there and listen for the voice prompts for left and right turns. Any thoughts, experience with your own GPS?
