I've been using Speedplay Light Action pedals this spring after a couple of years using those cheap Wellgo SPD pedals. It took me a good week to get used to them. The first ride I felt sure my feet were going to slip right off the pedals. I was too freaked out to stand in them.

Now I love them. They're just a tad harder to get into than the Wellgos. With those I could pedal a few turns to get across an intersection without actually clipping in. Not so with the Speedplays. If you're not in, you're OUT.
