The stock fork sucks when used with brakes, if you are planning to use them.
How much are you planning to spend? I have about $1200 into my bike including the original cost of the bike, so you should be able to build something great for under $1000.
There will be no brakes on this one. I've got about 1200.00 to spend on the build.
