I snapped some pictures and put them together to show how I assemble coaster brake hubs. Naturally, for disassembly start at the last picture and work backwards. The hub in these photos is a Bendix redline but all cone clutch type hubs are about the same. To make things easier on the eye, I show a clean (ungreased) hub. In 'real life' a good high temperature grease should be used on all parts including the brake shoes.... and don't be stingy...after a day or two of riding, the hub will expel any excess grease on it's own.

Have fun...
