I just had wheels built recently, and had to choose between 105 versus a higher end hub. I didn't think the weight difference was significant at all, and the guy at the LBS didn't seem to think they would ride much different than the higher end hubs.

Right or wrong, I went with the 105s...but then I ride an old steelie with original Shimano 600 components. Maybe I should just leave this to others!
