I've had my Carharrt jacket for 5 years. Its showing some age, but during the winter it sees near daily wear. Hasn't torn, zipper still works. Cuffs have got welding slag all in them, and enough grease to do an oil change... but its the only piece of clothing I've got that I can say is bullet proof. More bullet proof than my boots. I work on cars... and nothing is harder on clothes than laying on a rough concrete pad.

Bad news is a navy blue jacket is hard to see... feel like a moron on a cloudy day if I'm wearing it on the bike. Got a Neon green/yellow that will blind you to go over it. (It sucks butt in the rain without the windbreaker too...)
