Ditch the Yakima and Thule bike trays themselves and go with RockyMounts instead. They fit both Thule AND Yakima crossbars, are built equally as well, come in a large variety of colors to color-match your vehicle (or at least accent it beautifully) and are a fair bit cheaper as well.

Seriously, Yakima and Thule fork-mount bike trays are horrifically overpriced in comparison.
