I'm about 5'8" and 215lbs, (more like 230 when I ride with my gear) and ride over some pretty hard roads, always wondering if my Langster can handle it, so far no problems.
I was riding down a street and all of a sudden I hear a weird metalic crack. About 5 minutes later I am pedaling straight to China without a front wheel. The post below the drops cracked on both angles which left me coming straight down on the concrete. I don't have a computer but I estimated around 400 miles of use before this happened. The rear brake cable snapped and I was left to drag two pieces of bike for 3 miles getting looks from everyone.

I don't blame the bicycle manufacturer at all - I should have known I would be too heavy for this bike - even when I was buying the bike the salesman tried to steer me away from it.

Next time I will make sure the frame is made out of crude but strong steel.
