I just bought lights for my bike, this after walking in Prospect Park last week in the evening. I saw enough riders to make me want to try it myself. It was very peaceful. I've been hesitant to ride in the dark on the streets but the park looked pretty safe.

Do any of you ride there after sunset? Around 7-8 pm? I usually do a brisk pace, 19mph avg myself on a normal day solo, but faster too if I'm up to it and in a pack I can always go faster. I did see one pack go by, but only one. The rest were mostly solo or twos and not going very fast at all.
