Yeah, zip-tie the cassette to the spokes

Then you can buy a new rear mech, maybe spokes,maybe dropout, maybe frame, as well as a freehub.

Adjusting saddle as you learn the technique, ground-kick the bike home. Trot up hills beside it. That's how the first bikes worked.
