tristan, i wasn't trying to come off as self-righteous, sorry! but reduction in meat consumption/animal products is a huge step towards reducing one's carbon footprint, and the environmental impact of vegan products was being argued in this thread. Not that carbon footprint is the ONLY thing to look at when considering environmental impact, but it's important.
